Rotary International News
May 2009

Member Access will be unavailable for updating club and membership data from Thursday, 21 May, to Monday, 25 May. Rotary International is updating its data systems to provide better service to Rotarians. The new systems will centralize RI's databases and lay the foundation for future enhancements to the Member Access portal.

During the systems upgrade, you may experience additional service interruptions without notice. Please send update requests during this time to the Data Services Department at data@rotary.org.

Online registration for the RI Convention will also be unavailable 21-25 May. Online registration will resume on Tuesday, 26 May and continue until Sunday, 31 May. After online registration closes, Rotarians will be able to register on-site at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham, England.

Once the transition is complete, you will experience improvements to the look and feel of Member Access.

The Update Club Data, Add Member, and Edit Member pages will show substantial improvements.

Language, interests, and spousal information will not be collected.

Seasonal addresses will no longer be collected.

If you have secondary contact information that you would like RI to maintain after 25 May, please contact your club president or club secretary, or Data Services .

RI appreciates your continued cooperation and support as we work to improve your online experience.
